Chennai Super Kings' Shivam Dube didn't take too long to flaunt his charm against his former IPL franchise, Royal Challengers Bangalore, at Chinnaswamy. The swashbuckling southpaw spanked a 111 Meter maximum off Harshal Patel and a 101 Meter biggie off Gleen Maxwell on Wednesday.
The first sixer came in the 11th over of the CSK innings, where the big hitting batter went down the ground to the Australia off-spinner and tonked him down the ground. It landed on the roof and was later identified was a 101-M hit.
Two overs later, Dube went even bigger, this one against RCB's death-over specialist. Harshal bowled a low full toss outside the off stump, and the southpaw used it to his full advantage. He just stood on his ground to use his full flow of the arms by going down for long-on, which was 10 meters longers than the last one, reading 111 meters.
Thus far in the innings, Dube has smacked a total of three maximums, taking his indivdual score to 32* off 17 deliveries. Meanwhile, Devon Conway has been equally impressive with his unbeaten 41-ball 72.
After losing the toss, Chennai are at 146-2 after 14 overs.
