The god of cricket, the little master, the genius, there are so many adjectives to define the legacy of the great Sachin Tendulkar.

The former Indian cricketer celebrated his 50th birthday with the fans who attended the IPL match at Wankhede between Mumbai Indians and Punjab Kings.

The Master Blaster turns 50 on April 24 and the MI fans left no stones unturned to make it a memorable moment for Tendulkar.

The famous 'Sachin Sachin' chants reverberated at the end of 10th over in the PBKS innings.

Arguably the best batter of his generation, Tendulkar inspired millions to take up the game of cricket and brought a revolution himself. An international career that spanned 24 years, Tendulkar broke numerous records. He became the first and the only man till date to have 100 international centuries, and has 34,357 runs for his nation across formats.

He is the highest run-getter in Tests (15,921 runs) and has the most number of centuries in Tests as well (51).

Moreover, the former India skipper also has 18,426 ODI runs under his belt and played in 463 ODI matches. In 2010, he became the first male cricketer to slam a double hundred in ODIs, a feat which he achieved against South Africa.
