Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH)'s impactful speedster Umran Malik left Devdutt Padikkal amassed with a 149.2 kmph delivery, which the Rajasthan Royals (RR) could not even see to get his off-stump dismantled.

On the first delivery of his third over, Malik bowled a good length delivery on the off-stump line from the round-the-wicket angle. Padikkal went back and across to that one, but only to bring his bat down on time.

Malik, alongside T Natarajan, led Hyderabad's stellar comeback in the latter half of the innings, letting RR score 200-5 even after Jos Buttler got them off to a flying start with RR's score reading 85-1 after six overs.

After Buttler's dismissal, captain Sanju Samson and Yashasvi Jaiswal registered their fifties for Rajasthan; however, none of RR's batters could get settled in against SRH's shrewd bowling in the latter half.

The wrecker-in-chief for Rajasthan's demolishment was the left-arm seamer Natarajan, who got spanked for 17 overs in his over and returned in his second spell to lend just 6 runs in the 17th and 19th over of the game.

Moreover, he sent back a dangerous-looking Samson and Riyan Parag to the hut in his second spell, finishing the day at 2/23 in his 3 overs.

Despite making a solid comeback with the ball, SRH's top order got dismantled against Rajasthan's new-ball attacker, Trent Boult. At the time of writing, SRH is at 38 for 3 after 8 overs, needing 166 runs off 72 balls.
