Marching on a winning run, England bamboozled India in the semi-final of the T20 World Cup 2022, registering their name as the second finalist alongside Pakistan.

As England ticked boxes in every department, India were blown away by their might in the first innings with Jos Buttler and Alex Hales' undefeated 170-run stand ensuring a complete battering for Rohit Sharma's men.

Meanwhile, former England captain Eoin Morgan, who announced his international retirement months before the ongoing World Cup, lauded Buttler and Co. for their one-sided dominance.

Weighing in on the game, Morgan stated how England looked like a far superior side on the day than India. The 2019 World Cup-winner also praised Buttler for his efficient use of the bowlers.

Here's what Morgan commented

"They made a very good Indian side look ordinary and that is very difficult to do. It was like a boxing bout, but at two different weight divisions. A performance like that involves planning, executing and then putting them [India] to bed,

"Jos Buttler has had an unbelievable game as captain. He used Moeen Ali, he used Chris Jordan, and their experience was evident. Against KL Rahul, Suryakumar Yadav, Virat Kohli - they out-thought them, out-executed them and made them look like an average team."

After defeating India, England will collide with Pakistan in the summit clash of the tournament, scheduled on November 13 at the Melbourne Cricket Ground.
