Rohit Sharma Hails Nathan Lyon, Compares Him With Warne and Muralitharan

On Friday, Australia mauled India by nine wickets in the third Test in Indore to record their first win of the ongoing four-match series.
On a spin-friendly pitch, premier Australian spinner Nathan Lyon emerged as India's nemesis, dismantling them with his crafty spin bowling in both innings.
Lyon, who took a fifer in Delhi Test, continued his dream run on Indian soil, claiming eleven wickets in the third game.
Besides winning Australia the match, his prolific outing earned the wily spinner special praise from Indian captain Rohit Sharma in the post-match press conference.
Addressing Lyon as the finest-ever overseas spinner to have played in India, Sharma explained what attributes make the 35-year-old a tricky customer to deal with as a batter.
Here's what Sharma stated
"Obviously I haven't played guys like Murali or Shane Warne. But among the current crop, he (Lyon) would probably be the No.1 overseas bowler to come and play in India. When you have someone with that accuracy, you need to try and do something different in terms of scoring runs because you know he will not give you anything easy. He is a very experienced bowler and is not afraid of getting hit. That gives the captain a lot of confidence because he knows he has a guy who that he is going to pitch it there and let the pitch do the remaining."
Lyon has certainly overshadowed legendary Indian spinner R Ashwin in the series through his guile and accuracy.
After getting off to an underwhelming start in Nagpur, the veteran tweaker rediscovered his mojo in Delhi and has been a headache for the home team since then.
With India leading by 2-1, the series decider will be played on March 9 in Ahmedabad.
