One of the best spinners in world cricket at this stage, Rashid Khan took the world by storm when he landed on the circuit back in 2016-17. The leggie was found both unreadable and accurate as most of the batters fell in his trap of leg breaks and googlies.

The Afghani spinner, during the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL) bowled an incredible spell against Rajasthan Royals (RR) where he claimed three wickets for 14 runs in four overs and this came after some tough last few games.

However, speaking while receiving the player of the match award in the post-match presentation, Rashid spoke about his compatriot and left-arm chinaman spinner Noor Ahmed saying that the communication between them is quite effortless as they both speak Pashto.

"That is something which makes it easier for both of us. We speak Pashto and it makes easier for Noor as well. I can translate things for him which makes it easier. Hardik tells me to stay close to him and speak in his language,"

Adding to this, the senior pro referred to his example and revealed that there are more than 1000 leg-spinners present in their country Afghanistan which is an astonishing fact in itself considering they all developed after his arrival into the IPL.

"We have more than 1000 wrist spinners in Afghanistan. I went to an academy and saw so many there. That was the first year of me in IPL when there were 250 wrist spinners. The impact it had back home in 5-6-7 years is now even more. I am receiving messages and videos of the spinners. The opportunities the guys like Mujeeb, Qais, Zahir get and the ones in the future will be good for them."

Rashid and Titans will next be seen in action when they face Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) on 7th May at Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad.
