Hardik Pandya's Gujarat Titans have been the team to beat in the Indian Premier League (IPL) since their inception in 2022 with a win/loss ratio like no other. The Western India-based team have played like champions lifting the trophy in the inaugural season with their competitive team.

Skipper Hardik who couldn't do the finishing job for the side in the last game against Delhi Capitals (DC), played a wonderful knock versus Rajasthan Royals (RR) to take his victory in just 14 overs after the Royals were cleaned up for a paltry 118.

After the game, Hardik talked about being professional on the field as they have been doing a decent job until now holding the top spot after getting 14 points in their tally. Adding to this, he said that one of him and Ashish Nehra have discussions during the match around the field where they what needs to be done ahead.

"At the end of the day we know we have to be professionals. We are relaxed till you are doing your job. If you are not on the park and just roaming around then its just something its just a chat either me or Ashu pa will have to pull up our socks. Something which we really want to go ahead is finishing games and be ruthless as well,"

Hardik also spoke about taking responsibility and admitted that he has done mistakes which he accepts considering they only help him to get better.

"I never shied away from taking responsibility or even when I make a mistake I like to accept it because acceptance is the biggest key in your life to learn. What happened in the last 2 games could be my learning."

Titans won the game by nine wickets and will now march on to face Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) on 7th May at Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad.
