Rajasthan Royals (RR) faced Gujarat Titans (GT) at their home and it ended in a disastrous way as they were bowled out for a mere 118 inside 18 overs courtesy of Rashid Khan and Noor Ahmed who cleaned up their middle-order without any hassle. Skipper Sanju Samson looked dejected after the completion of the match and expressed how he is feeling.

The right-hander who could only manage 30 runs from 20 balls called it in straight words a tough night for him and his side. To further add, he mentioned that the batters couldn't give enough to the bowlers as a score of around 120 would be unfair to the bowlers.

"Absolutely, actually you summed up it really well. Tough night for us. We did have a very good start in the powerplay but then their spinners came into play and our bowlers didn't have enough to defend. Around 120 is a bit too much to ask for from the bowlers.

Samson's thought reflected in his statements where he praised the GT's bowlers who kept them under continuous pressure throughout the game. Sanju ended it by saying that they are hungrier to win their upcoming matches.

"As I said, they bowled really well and picked wickets continuously. We didn't read one or two balls here and there, they did well. See, we have another night game here. We can't go too deep into it. But definitely, we need to pull our socks up. We are very hungry to win upcoming games."

Rajasthan and Samson will look to get their 12th point when they face SunRisers Hyderabad on 7th May.
