Milestones Await Virat Kohli in RCB vs KKR clash

Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) batter Virat Kohli sits at a shouting distance of seizing oodles of milestones as his side takes on Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in the ninth match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023.

Opening the season with a 49-ball 82, Kohli earned RCB an eight-wicket victory versus Mumbai Indians.

The in-form batter eyes enormous achievements in the KKR clash, the most possible of it being the 500-run feat as he is a mere 29 runs shy of breaking through the landmark. Kohli has amassed 491 runs at Eden Gardens in T20 cricket.

Also, the 34-year-old is 92 runs away from topping off 11,500 runs in T20 cricket. And going by his recent performances and record at Eden Gardens, the star batter could attain the record today itself.

The former RCB skipper has grabbed 94 catches in IPL. With six more catches, he will mark his entry in the list that currently features only Suresh Raina and Kieron Pollard.

With Kohli and RCB beginning the tournament on a high, they would want to maintain their momentum in the face-off against KKR, scheduled in the evening today.
