Liam Livingstone Slams One of the Flattest Sixers During His Fiery Outing

In the ongoing fixture between Chennai and Punjab at Chepauk, the visiting team's hard-hitting batter Liam Livingstone smacked one of the flatest maximums in the history of the Indian Premier League, smacking CSK's Akash Singh for a 72-metre over deep extra cover.

Coming at number 4, Livingstone started his outing with a bang, dancing down the track to the left-arm seamer and hitting his length delivery well over the fence.

On the back of Prabhsimran Singh and Shikhar Dhawan's flying start to the innings, PBKS were at the box seat for the first half of their innings; however, a couple of quick wickets dried up runs despite Livingstone and Sam Curran being at the crease.

MS Dhoni used his spinners tactically, bowling them against Punjab's two foreign batters and not letting them score freely. But, as soon as they got the taste of pacer, they cut them loose.

Livingstone smacked three maximums and a boundary off Tushar Deshpande, before mistiming a slog at deep mid-wicket to end his end 40.

Despite losing Livingstone in a crunch moment, the finishing touches from Jitesh Sharma and Sikandar Raza scripted a famous win for Punjab at Chepauk.
