India, under Hardik Pandya's captaincy, went on to secure yet another T20I series victory at home, beating New Zealand on Wednesday night. Pandya, who is being touted as India's next 20-overs leader, has won eight and lost two T20Is as captain, while one ended in a tie.

Former India opener Aakash Chopra, after India's emphatic 168-run win over New Zealand in Ahmedabad, believes that the current team is following Pandya's cricketing philosophy to the tee.

Speaking on his YouTube channel, the former KKR player added that Pandya provides a calming influence and gives his complete support to players.

Here's what Chopra explained

"Hardik Pandya as a captain - aggressive captain. The signs of Hardik Pandya's cricket DNA are being seen in this team, that they will keep on hitting even if the wickets are falling,

Forget about the Lucknow game because it was an extremely bad pitch. But if you see the match that happened yesterday, you will find that they were batting aggressively even when the wickets were falling. So Hardik Pandya's cricketing philosophy is being seen in the batting."

On the other hand, Chopra still maintained that Pandya needed to utilise his bowling resources better and work out how many overs he needs to bowl over the course of the match.
