Javed Miandad's recent comments about Pakistan not travelling to India for cricket matches until the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) agrees to send its team to Pakistan first reflect his opinion on the upcoming World Cup. Javed Miandad, a former cricketer and captain of the Pakistan national team, is well-known for his outspoken nature and occasional controversial remarks.

It's important to note that the decision to schedule cricket matches between nations is primarily made by the respective cricket boards and the International Cricket Council (ICC), taking into consideration various factors such as bilateral relations, security concerns, and logistical arrangements. These decisions are not solely based on individual players' opinions or demands.

The ICC's draft schedule for the upcoming ICC World Cup includes a match between Pakistan and India, reportedly scheduled to be held in Ahmedabad, India, on October 15. However, whether Pakistan will travel to India for the match or not will ultimately be determined by the cricket boards and the authorities involved.

"If I had to make a decision I would never go to India to play any match, even the World Cup. We are always ready to play them (India) but they never respond in the same manner. Pakistan cricket is bigger…we are still producing quality players. So I don’t think even if we don’t go to India it will make any difference to us," said Javed.

After the Asia Cup in 2008, India have not undertaken any tours to Pakistan. The suspension of bilateral cricket ties between the two countries has been a result of the enduring geopolitical tensions that exist between India and Pakistan.

Cricketing relations between India and Pakistan have been strained in recent years due to political tensions and security concerns. Bilateral series between the two countries have been limited, with most matches taking place in multi-team tournaments such as the ICC events or the Asia Cup. The decision to resume the bilateral cricket series between India and Pakistan is a complex issue that involves various stakeholders, including the governments of both nations.
