Former India bowlers Harbhajan Singh and S Sreesanth have put their past grievances to bed and teamed up for commentary for Star Sports during the upcoming edition of the Indian Premier League.

Ahead of the commencement of the cricketing extravaganza, Star Sports, the official broadcaster of the tournament, released a video announcing the dynamic duo alongside Mohammad Kaif as part of the commentary team ahead of the 2023 IPL.

The announcement was welcomed by the fans as they expressed their delight in watching the duo together once again. The pair had been a part of the Indian team that had won the T20 World Cup 2007 and the ICC Cricket World 2011.

It is worth mentioning that the two cricketers’ reconciliation marks the end of a dark chapter in the history of Indian cricket, when Harbhajan allegedly slapped Sreesanth in 2008 after an IPL match. It was assumed that the two would never bury the hatchet, but as the saying goes, "time heals all wounds."

Recently, while speaking on Sports Yaari, Sreesanth spoke candidly about his friendship with Harbhajan and their past tiffs. The pace bowler brushed off the media frenzy surrounding the altercation and insisted that he and the off-spinner have always been thick as thieves.

Sreesanth further expressed his gratitude to his former teammate, comparing their relationship to the famous song "Tere jaisa yaar kaha."

Meanwhile, with the IPL 2023 set to be a blockbuster event, cricket lovers around the world are licking their chops in anticipation. The world's largest T20 league is set to hit the ground running with the 16th edition of the tournament starting on March 31.

Fans are on tenterhooks with the defending champions Gujarat Titans ready to lock horns with Chennai Super Kings in Ahmedabad in the tournament opener.
