Former Indian skipper and current captain of Chennai Super Kings (CSK), MS Dhoni has been the backbone of the yellow army from the past 15 years where he has bailed them out of trouble on numerous number of occasions.

However, in the ongoing edition there has been a major concern for the four-time IPL-winning captain who is also dealing with a knee injury and has previously cautioned his side regarding a serious issue.

Now, cricketer turned expert Virender Sehwag while speaking to Cricbuzz revealed that MS Dhoni could be banned from a match because they haven't been able to complete their overs on time. This is mainly due to the fact that the bowlers are bowling way more no-balls and wides which is costing them some precious time.

Sehwag's concern was addressed by Dhoni himself previously where he mentioned that they will have to play under a new captain.

"Dhoni was not looking happy because he has mentioned it before that he wants the bowlers to reduce the number of no balls and wides. It shouldn't go to a stage where Dhoni gets banned and CSK has to take the field without their captain."

Further, the opener mentioned that they have been extras from spinners as well which is frustrating from the captain's point of view.

"It's really disappointing when you bowl so many wides, especially by a spinner. At least they should control their wides. With the kind of knee injury he has, it appears he might play only a handful of matches more anyway. He is constantly pushing himself, but if his bowlers are bowling so many wides and no balls, then Dhoni will have to take rest."

CSK's next match will be against Sunrisers Hyderabad on 21st April at MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai.
