Winning the toss and putting Mumbai Indians (MI) into bat, Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) were having a difficult time against the openers as skipper Rohit Sharma and Ishan Kishan formed a 41 run partnership for the first wicket.

Sharma lost his wicket for 28 from 18 deliveries, however, his partner continued to stay at the crease although at a slow pace with his 38 coming at a rate of 122.

The new batter who arrived at the crease Cameron Green, started to play cautiously against the SRH bowlers but later, found his mojo as he struck 64 not out from 40 deliveries staying unbeaten with six fours and two maximum.

Green's innings came more as a reassurance to his talent as he brought up his maiden fifty in the cash-rich extravaganza.

Suryakumar Yadav came in, smacked a six and went back on just his third delivery, courtesy of an outstanding catch from SRH Aiden Markram who had already grabbed two before this one.

Later, Tilak Varma joined the party and took the matter in his own hands with 37 from just 17 deliveries with four sixes along with Tim David, both the whom did their job wonderfully well to help take the side's score to 192.

Most of the bowlers were on the higher side in terms of economy as the death overs produced the majority of runs.
