Since Aaron Finch has bid adieu to ODIs, people have been speculating about his retirement from all forms of cricket. The veteran batter's poor form and fitness struggles have acted as catalysts for these discussions.

However, the ace opener believes that he has some years of cricket left in him, as he doesn't want people to write him off completely.

Furthermore, Finch seemed optimistic about a good outing in the BBL. The Victorian stated that his team Melbourne Renegades has some impactful players in Martin Guptill and Andre Russell, who could guide them to glory this season.

Here's what Finch said

"Hopefully people don’t write me off too quick. I’m really keen to get back into it. Once you have a little break for a while, it gets the juices flowing again,

"We’ve added some real strength to our group, so for us it’s just about starting the tournament well. In T20 cricket, experience counts for a lot. Guys like Andre Russell and Martin Guptill have dominated world cricket for a long time, so they’re huge drawcards for our club."

The Renegades will play their first BBL 12 game against Brisbane Heat on December 15.
