In an unfortunate turn of events, promising India seamer Kuldeep Sen has been ruled out of the second ODI against Bangladesh due to injury.

As per BCCI's official statement, Sen developed a back stiffness after the first ODI and is, therefore, been rested for the second match. Express pacer Umran Malik has returned to the playing XI as a replacement for Sen.

Here's what BCCI has said

"Kuldeep Sen complained of back stiffness following the first ODI against Bangladesh on Sunday. The BCCI Medical Team assessed him and has advised him rest. He was not available for selection for the 2nd ODI."

Sen, who debuted in the first ODI, blew hot and cold, scalping two wickets for 37 runs in his five-over spell. On the other hand, Umran impressed everyone with his pace and accuracy on the New Zealand tour, claiming three wickets at a strike rate of 30.
