Kieron Pollard is one of the cleanest hitters of the cricket ball and if he gets going, it is almost impossible to stop him. 

He has now grabbed headlines with five consecutive sixes against Rashid Khan in the Hundred 2024, but it is not the first time he has done that, infact he has hit six consecutive sixes in a T20I game against Sri Lanka at Coolidge Cricket Ground in Antigua.

It was the first T20I of the series and was quite a dramatic match. Sri Lanka scored 131 while batting first and in reply, West Indies were put in early pressure with Akila Dananjaya batting a hat-trick. Pollard, the captain of the side was in no mood to back away though and in the sixth over of the innings, carted the same bowler for six sixes in a row with some effortless pounding.

At that time, Kieron Pollard joined the elite list of Herschelle Gibbs and Yuvraj Singh and after him only Jaskaran Malhotra and Dipendra Singh Airee have been able to match the feat of going full bounty in a single over.

West Indies won that game against Sri Lanka with ease and it is these kind of performances over the years which make him a genuine match-winner.
