David Warner has retired from international cricket but is playing franchise leagues all around the world. He is currently plying his trade in Global T20 Canada for Brampton Wolves and is leading the Men in Orange as well.

He has not scored a fifty so far in the season, but in the Qualifier 2 against Toronto Nationals, started off with a bang with three fours in a single over against Romario Shepherd.

It was the second over of the match and Romario bowled the first delivery full and on the pads of Warner. The Southpaw flicked it beautifully through mid-wicket for a boundary which might have given him lot of confidence and on the third delivery, he pulled the short ball nicely towards fine leg for another four.

The Caribbean pacer overcompensated on the next delivery and it turned out to be a half-volley which David Warner drove with great timing again through extra covers for the third boundary of the over.

Warner though could not carry his great start, and Romario Shepherd got his wicket in the third over to deliver a mighty blow in the Qualifier 2.
