Pakistan have announced their 15-member squad for the upcoming T20 World Cup 2024 on May 24, 2024. Babar Azam will lead the Men in Green for the third successive time in the marquee tournament. 

Along with Fakhar Zaman, Mohammad Rizwan, Naseem Shah, Shaheen Afridi, Azam Khan, and Iftikhar Ahmed all have retained their places in the squad.

The Men In Green have recalled Mohammad Amir and Imad Wasim, who took retirement from international cricket. There is no surprise in the entire squad.

Babar Azam has been appointed as the captain of the Pakistan Cricket Team for the upcoming T20 World Cup 2024. 

He is widely regarded as one of the finest batters in contemporary world cricket. In November 2023, Azam resigned from captaincy in all formats after the 2023 Cricket World Cup. However, in March 2024, he was re-appointed as Pakistan's captain in white-ball cricket.

Gary Kirsten has been appointed as the head coach of the Pakistan Cricket Team for the upcoming T20 World Cup 2024. He has previously coached the Indian Cricket Team as well as the South African Cricket team. 

He was the coach of the Indian Cricket Team from 2008 to 2011 and was also with Team India which won the 2011 Cricket World Cup. He was appointed as the coach of the South African cricket team in June 2011, and he stepped down in August 2013.
