KKR Bring in Suyash Sharma as Impact Player; Jason Roy Substituted

Kolkata Knight Riders have introduced their impact player against the Royal Challengers Bangalore. The very impressive Suyash Sharma has come onto the field and has replaced Jason Roy.
KKR already have two spinners in their ranks, in the form of Varun Chakravarthy and Sunil Narine, but Suyash has been impressive so far and forms a potent trio alongside the other two spinners.
It won't be an understatement to say that Suyash Sharma has been the find of the IPL 2023. A wily leg-spinner, he has racked up 7 wickets in just 5 matches, at an economy of 8.25.
With KKR defending 200 on a belter of a Chinnaswamy track, it was already evident that Suyash will be introduced as an impact player. He made an instant impact with the big wicket of Faf du Plessis.
Talking about the match, RCB need 201 to win the contest. Jason Roy scored a magnificent fifty and Nitish Rana and Rinku Singh finished it off in style as the visitors breached the 200-run barrier.
