The second ODI match between India Women and England Women at Lord’s on July 19 has been delayed because of heavy rain. The match was supposed to start at 3:30 PM IST, with the toss scheduled for 3:00 PM, but it’s been pouring, and things don’t look good at the moment.

Right now, there’s no way the game can start on time. The weather conditions are very poor. However, if the rain stops soon, there’s still a small chance to play a shortened game of 20 overs each. The latest they can start such a game is by 4:08 PM IST.

ENG-W vs IND-W Match Recap

India, led by Harmanpreet Kaur are coming into this second ODI on a high after winning the first ODI by four wickets in a thrilling game at Southampton. They’re leading the 3-match series 1-0 and have already won the T20I series.

Notably, if they win today, they’ll seal the ODI series too, another big win on English soil.

England, on the other hand, are under pressure. Their batters faltered early in the first ODI, the bowlers couldn’t defend a competitive total, and their fielding left much to be desired. They’ll be eager to bounce back, level the series, and force a decider in the final match.
