West Indies
The hosts displayed poor cricket in the second ODI having gained a 1-0 lead and could have pressed for a series win, but the batting let them down.
Once again, skipper and wicketkeeper batter Shai Hope held his ground, and kept the faltering innings together, with support from Sherfane Rutherford, who finally found some form after a string of failures.
The lack of runs from veterans like Brandon King, and Shimron Hetmyer is hurting the side, who have quite a few youngsters.
In the bowling, Gudakesh Motie remained the pick of the bowlers, making life tough for England batters. The likes of Alzarri Joseph, and Oshane Thomas will need to step up if West Indies have any chance of stopping a strong and in-form opponent.
England
In the second ODI, under Jos Buttler, England displayed a clinical performance, finally exhibiting their potential.
After thumping in the first ODI, all-rounder Sam Curran hit form and downed the West Indies top-order, which enabled the likes of Liam Livingstone and Rehan Ahmed to hound the West Indies' inexperienced batting order.
In batting, Harry Brook showed consistency and continued to make a mark in ODIs, having been criticised of late. Runs from the bat of Buttler will come as a relief for England, who rely heavily on their talisman player.
Much will be expected from Ben Duckett, who is yet to fire in the series, with almost all the other batters being among the runs.
