The United States Of America is taking on India in a high-octane match 25 of T20 World Cup 2024 at the Nassau County International Cricket Stadium in New York. India have won the toss and have elected to bowl first, but the big news is that the Indian origin skipper of USA - Monank Patel is not playing.
The reason behind his unavailability according to the stand-in captain Aaro Jones is a slight niggle, and he is expected to be fit for USA's next game against Ireland. Monank's absence is a big blow to USA, not only for his leadership skills but also what he brings to the table with the bat at the top of the order.
In USA's historic win over Pakistan at Dallas, Monank led from the front in a tricky chase and scored 50 to led the foundation of a famous victory in USA cricket.
