India have won the toss and have elected to bowl first, but the big news is that the Indian origin skipper of USA - Monank Patel is not playing.

The reason behind his unavailability according to the stand-in captain Aaro Jones is a slight niggle, and he is expected to be fit for USA's next game against Ireland. Monank's absence is a big blow to USA, not only for his leadership skills but also what he brings to the table with the bat at the top of the order.
