After a heartbreak against South Africa, Bangladesh will look to get back to the winning ways on Thursday (June 13) when they take on the Netherlands in an all-important Group D match at Arnos Vale Ground, Kingstown, St Vincent.

Considering the fact that Sri Lanka have almost been eliminated from the competition, a victory over the Netherlands could potentially guarantee Bangladesh's place in the Super 8 stage.

Even though Bangladesh's potent bowling attack has been punching above their weights, their batters, particularly the top-order, has been utter disappointing. Hence, they must look to bring in Soumya Sarkar, who had performed for Bangladesh in the past when it mattered.

If Soumya returns, 23-year-old opener Tanzid Hasan might have to make his way. Even though Litton Das' disastrous form has been a worry of concern, his flexibility to bat as an opener or as a No. 3 if required could allow him to get another opportunity.

In addition, Bangladesh may also bring in ace speedster Shoriful Islam, who has returned to action lately by bowling in nets. Shoriful's comeback may force promising leg-spinner Rishad Hossain to sit out.

At the same time, the move will allow Shakib Al Hasan and Mahmudullah to roll their arms more frequently.
