Abhishek Sharma played a brilliant knock under pressure against the Punjab Kings in the 27th match of the IPL 2025. The. match is being played at the Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium in Hyderabad. 

The young Indian opener showed the temperament and attitude he has. The Sunrisers were under pressure after the Punjab Kings batted first in the match and posted a mammoth total of 246/5 at the end of 20 overs.

Abhishek Sharma And Travis Head Shatter The PBKS Bowlers

Hyderabad needed a solid start from their openers. Abhishek Sharma and Travis Head did better, they just destroyed the PBKS bowlers and seized the momentum completely in their favour.

The opening partnership between Travis Head and Abhishek Sharma worked for 171 runs in just 12.2 overs. After this Head was dismissed, but Abhishek Sharma continued his destruction. He slammed the best of SRH bowlers to all parts of the ground and reached his century.

Abhishek Sharma completed a destructive century in just 40 deliveries. After completing his Hundred, Sharma brought out a note. Shreyas Iyer took the note and was trying to understand it, what was written on it. Later on when the camera showed the note, the message was clear - 'This ONE Is For Orange Army'.
