The Indian team has suffered a major set back on the second day of the fifth Test at the Sydney Cricket Ground. Jasprit Bumrah, the stand-in skipper and the lead pacer of the team has potentially suffered an injury and left the field for a scan with the support staff of the Indian team.

Notably, the Indian bowling has largely depended on Jasprit Bumrah on this series. Whenever the team has needed wickets, Bumrah has been brought into the bowling crease. With 32 wickets in the series, Bumrah has been the highest wicket taker.
