Don't go anywhere because it's time for the all-important summit clash, the Grand Finale of the Super Smash 2024/25, to be played between the two best sides in the competition, Central Stags (CS) and Canterbury Kings (CK), on 2nd February 2025. The showdown will take place at the Basin Reserve, Wellington, from 8:55 AM IST.

This competition has undoubtedly produced a lot of great moments and players, as Tom Bruce-led Central Stags have been magnificent in every phase of this tournament. In the group stage, they finished on the top of the table with six top-class wins from ten games, where they lost only two while the remaining two were taken away by rain. Having 28 points after their name, Stags had an impressive NRR of +0.18, as they were mainly flawless. They played their last game of the league stage against Auckland Aces and won in the crunch moment with three deliveries and five wickets to spare in a rain-affected encounter.

Conversely, Canterbury Kings have reached the final after defeating Northern Brave in the eliminator, comfortably by seven wickets, as they had 41 balls left in the innings. Brave batted first and could only post 110 on the board for the loss of nine wickets after 20 overs, courtesy of a spell from hell by veteran Matt Henry, where he bowled four overs for two wickets while giving away just two runs, delivering three maidens along the way. 

He was ably supported by Kyle Jamieson and Henry Shiply, who picked three wickets apiece. From the batting department, Matthew Boyle (48) and Chad Bowes (33) took responsibility with the bat, helping them easily finish the game. In the league stage, they ended up on third place with 18 points, having ten victories in their tally.
