Indian skipper Rohit Sharma has often been in the news for his witty press conferences and remarks that are hilarious in nature. Now, during the ongoing Naman Awards happening in Mumbai, the opener has made a statement on his old habit of forgetting things.
Sharma, speaking to Indian women's cricketer Smriti Mandhana, spilled beans on how his teammates tease him alongside why that's a thing of the past.
Rohit Speaks Out On His Forgetting Habit
During the interaction with Mandhana, who was present on the stage along with Hardik Pandya and Jemimah Rodrigues, Sharma, when asked about one hobby that the people in the team tease him about, did not hesitate to reveal that his infamous tradition of forgetting things is something he still gets mocked for.
Although the right-hander accepted that he used to forget things like his wallet and passport, now, according to him, that's a thing of the past and that, too, from two decades back.
"They tease me about forgetting - I forget about my wallet, I forget about my passport which is absolutely not true, that happened like a couple of decades back."
Adding to this, Hardik, who was sitting beside them, further revealed that Rohit often checks his seat thoroughly now to ensure that he does not forget anything while leaving.
