The Women's Big Bash League (WBBL) 2022 season is set to resume on October 20 after a day’s hiatus. The match, scheduled to be played at the WACA, will feature the Melbourne Stars taking on defending champions Perth Scorchers.
The Scorchers are currently on a winning streak, registering clinical victories in their first two matches of the ongoing season. They are placed at number two on the points table, behind the Sydney Sixers.
The Stars, on the other hand, are yet to open their account this year. They lost their opening game to Brisbane Heat by nine runs as well as their subsequent fixture against the Sixers by 27 runs.
Match Details
Venue: W.A.C.A Ground, Perth
Date & Time: October 20, 2.40 PM IST
Live Streaming: Sony Sports Network and Sony LIV
Pitch Report: The surface at the iconic WACA ground in Perth traditionally offers good pace and bounce to the seamers. In the recently held World Cup warm-up matches, the track offered decent seam movement. So, we expect slight help for the seamers early on, with batting becoming easier with time.
