Pakistan Cricket - a factory of raw, exciting young talents - unveiled another promising product on Monday (February 19) via the Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2024 in Quetta Gladiators right-hander Khawaja Nafay.

The Gladiators middle-order maverick reinforced his talent and prowess in the clash against the Lahore Qalandars at the historic Gaddafi Stadium. Walking in at No.3 in a stiff run-chase where the Gladiators required 188 off their 20 overs for a win, Nafay smashed an unbeaten 60 off just 31 balls to take them through.

Exhibiting his range and powerhitting qualities, the 22-year-old hammered 4 fours and 3 sixes during his enterprising and match-winning stint in the middle. Nafay's innings proved to be the difference as the Gladiators reached home at the start of the 20th over and bagged their second consecutive win of the season.

Khawaja Nafay's No-Look Six Off Haris Rauf

Of the three maximums that Nafay smash over the ropes, one truly stood out for the sheer nonchalance with which he executed the stroke. It was his stylish no-look six against Qalandars and Pakistan international speedster Haris Rauf.

Having just come in, Nafay dispatched Rauf's incoming delivery for a six towards the deep square-leg region. Spotting the bowler's intentions to cramp him for room early, the right-hander moved across early and used the pace that Rauf bowls at to find the most optimum connection over the boundary.

Commentator Simon Doull perfectly described the stroke and also noted the no-look position in which Nafay got after belting Rauf for a six to put the pressure back on the Qalandars and their experienced pacer.

The six sailed over the ropes at the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore and captured the imagination of not just the packed crowd watching the game inside the stadium but all the Pakistan cricket lovers tuned into the Gladiators and Qalandars clash.
