Rajasthan Royals' prominent opener Yashasvi Jaiswal sustained his poor run in the ongoing Indian Premier League season, being dismissed for another low score in the group-stage game against Gujarat Titans.

Opening the batting alongside veteran Englishman Jos Buttler, Jaiswal struck several elegant boundaries to provide the hosts with a brisk start before Matthew Wade's sensational catch put an end to his brief stay.

The incident occurred during the fifth over of the Royals' innings when they had already got a positive start, courtesy of Jaiswal's breezy cameo.

GT skipper Shubman Gill's decision to bring Umesh Yadav for his third over paid off, with the experienced pacer getting the prized scalp of Jaiswal.

After hitting Yadav for a boundary, Jaiswal attempted for an audacious lap shot only to see a miscue leading to his debacle.

As he failed to connect the ball properly, GT's wicket-keeper Matthew Wade timed his jump perfectly to hold on to a spectacular catch.

Jaiswal's opening partner, Buttler, soon followed his footsteps, being dismissed by Rashid Khan for the fifth time in his career.

In-form batter Riyan Parag joined the middle to steady the hosts' ship alongside skipper Samson after Buttler's departure.

As of writing, the Royals were 46 for two in 6.2 overs, with Samson and Parag unbeaten on 11* and 2*, respectively.
