Legendary Sri Lankan ex-cricketer Lasith Malinga is known as one of the greatest exponents of yorker. The veteran pacer showcased his incredible skills yet again, this time as the Mumbai Indians' coach, ahead of their upcoming IPL 2024 clash against Royal Challengers Bengaluru. 

In a viral video on social media, Malinga can be seen uprooting stumps with accurate yorkers. The clip, posted by the Mumbai Indians' social media handle, begins with Malinga asking the MI bowlers to target the blockhole and hit the timber. 

However, the likes of Nuwan Thushara and Arjun Tendulkar fail to disturb the furniture, missing the target by some margin. Then, Malinga comes and displays his bowling prowess, hitting the stumps without breaking a sweat. 

Notably, Malinga, hailed for his incredible death-bowling attributes, is the only bowler in cricket history to scalp four wickets on consecutive deliveries. Also, he has achieved the feat twice, establishing himself as one of the greats of the game. 

Meanwhile, Mumbai Indians finally broke their three-match losing streak with a comprehensive 30-run victory against Delhi Capitals on their home turf. They will take on RCB in their fifth group-stage fixture tomorrow at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai.
