Sport is one of the few things in world that has the power to create memories for a lifetime with sheer emotions and passion that it generates. For Indian cricket fans, the Gabba Test victory in January 2021 is one of the most cherished victories there are plenty of moments in that game, that many cricket fans across the world still remember. Washington Sundar's six to Pat Cummins in the final innings of that Test match is one such shot which came in a crunch situation and it is probably the best cricketing moment for Washington Sundar in his brief India career.

Now, in the third ODI between India and Australia at Rajkot, Washington Sundar has brought back memories of that iconic shot with a six off the short ball of Pat Cummins. It was a similar shot to what he played at Gabba, a pull shot which went all the way into the crowd and created almost a similar euphoria among fans.

Talking about the ball at Rajkot, it was a short delivery, angling into leg from 'round the wicket. Sundar shuffled a bit to his left, got underneath the ball and pulled it all the way over deep backward square leg for a maximum.
