Mitchell Marsh is one of those genuine match-winners who can win the game for his side single-handedly, whenever he gets going. He did not play the second ODI after failing in the first game but has made a smashing comeback with a belligerent 96. However, when he was looking well on his way to get to his second ODI century, Kuldeep Yadav got the better of him, bringing some respite for India after being hammered all over the park.

Mitchell Marsh scored 96 off 84 balls and with a flat batting deck on offer, this was a great opportunity for him to convert this into a big hundred. Marsh departed on the last ball of the 28th over though when Kuldeep Yadav bowled a shortish delivery on off. Marsh made a bit of room as he went on the back foot to cut it. He did cut it but ended up hitting it aerially and straight to Prasidh Krishna at cover, who took a comfortable catch.

Marsh's wicket was the second Australian wicket and broke a dangerous-looking partnership between Marsh and Smith, that was taking the game away from India. At the time of writing, Australia are 237-2 at the end of 31 overs and India would like to take some more quick wickets to restrict Australia to a chaseable total here.
