Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma's connection goes back a long way. The two have been playing cricket together for more than a decade now, and have seen lots of ups and downs in their journey. They recently won the T20 World Cup together and the emotional hug between the two after the win, caught the social media on fire.
However, with good times, there are also some tough moments along the way, and India's first Test series loss at home since 2012 is surely a tough pill to swallow for everyone. The disappointment of the loss was evident on the faces of both Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma, and now a video is going viral where both of them are seen sharing a hug, with emotions completely contrary to those of the T20 World Cup win.
The moment arrived when Rohit Sharma was coming back to the pavilion after the loss. Virat Kohli who was already in his training kit, first had a customary handshake with Rohit Sharma and then the duo hugged each other.
India's Road To WTC Final 2025 Gets Tougher
It was indeed a surprising series loss for India. New Zealand came to India with series loss against Sri Lanka and were expected to suffer similar fate against in-form India. However, India lost comfortably in Bengaluru and in the second Test too, on a turning track, Rohit Sharma and co. faltered big time.
The qualification scenario for WTC final is now a bit tougher for India, and they would have to pull their socks up, and register a win in the final Test to bring themselves back on track.
