Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma are two of the greatest and most experienced cricketers in the Indian team currently. They are now eyeing the Champions Trophy 2025 title with New Zealand standing in the way of the ultimate trophy.

Virat Kohli Puts On Captaincy Hat In Champions Trophy Final

Naturally, both of them are pretty focussed in the game, and the glimpse of it was evident when Virat Kohli was seen advising Rohit Sharma about field placement.The incident happened in the seventh over, after the third ball as Rachin Ravindra and Will Young were building a good opening stand. 

Rohit Sharma look worried and that is when Virat Kohli stepped in to help the Indian captain. Shami dropped Rachin Ravindra on the last ball and India needed wicket and Kohli very cleverly took on the mantle to make things happen.

India eventually got the wicket of Will Young in the next over when Varun Chakaravarthy got rid of Will Young. India also got wickets of the dangerous duo of Rachin Ravindra and Kane Williamson in the next couple of overs and from 57-0, the Kiwis were reduced to 75-3.

New Zealand are searching for their second Champions Trophy title while India are looking to bag their third. Both the team faced each other in the group stage too and India outclassed them in the last game and it would be interesting to see how things pan out in the high-pressure final now.
