Kohli, who has had a dream tournament so far, didn't look comfortable during his brief stay in the middle. After playing eight dot balls, the legendary batter went for a risky release shot only to be caught at mid off. Following his dismissal, Kohli was devastated, making a slow walk back to the dugout.

The Indian talisman expressed his anger by punching the sofa inside the Indian dressing room. His act of anger of captured by the camera and went viral on social media.

After Kohli's departure, Indian captain Rohit Sharma and keeper-batter KL Rahul stitched a valuable 91-run stand for the fourth wicket to stabilise the innings. As of writing, the hosts are struggling to get a fitting finish, placed at 194 for seven in 43.4 overs, with Suryakumar Yadav and Jasprit Bumrah unbeaten in the middle.
