India are fighting in the second T20I of the four match series against South Africa at the St. George's Park. After a brilliant show in the first match, the visitors have been put under pressure by some brilliant bowling from the South African bowlers. However, on a difficult track, the Indian bowlers are trying to build pressure on the home team and are crawling back into the game.

Hardik Pandya Brings India Back Into The Game

After bing put to bat, India lost their top order rather cheaply in the game. It took a cautious and watchful approach from Hardik Pandya to take India to a competitive score. The Indian star all-rounder scored 39 runs off 45 deliveries and took the team's total to a fighting 124/6 on a difficult batting track.

South Africa made a rocking start to the chase as Ryan Rickelton and Reeza Hendricks looked to bat with a steady approach. However, Arshdeep Singh soon accounted for Rickelton and gave India the first breakthrough in the game. 

Aiden Markram Gets Cleaned Up By Varun Chakravarthy

At this stage, the skipper of the South African team, Aiden Markram walked out into the park. The right-handed batter is known for his stable batting technique and thriving especially in this kind of situations. The wicket of Markram was crucial for India and their magician and comeback hero, Varun Chakravarthy provided them with that.

On the second delivery of the sixth over, Chakravarthy bowled a full delivery outside the off stump. It was a googly and Markram misread it. The Proteas skipper cleared his front foot and tried to go over the onside. However, he missed the ball completely and it crashed into the stumps ending an uncomfortable stay of the captain.
