Axar Patel kept on doing wonders for India, as he cleaned up a well-set USA batsman Steven Taylor on Wednesday (June 12) when the Men in Blue took on the USA in Match 25 of the T20 World Cup 2024 at Nassau County International Cricket Stadium, New York.

Axar got the wicket during the 12th over of the USA's innings when he came to bowl the second over of the day. The left-arm spinner bowler bowled a tossed-up delivery which drifted with angle, and all Taylor could manage was getting an under-edge before it came back to rattle the stumps.

Taylor was upset the manner in which he lost his wicket, and soon after, he attempted to break the stumps with the bat before eventually restricted himself from doing so.

Notably, Taylor seemed to break the shackles only before losing his wicket. Hence, the frustration which came from him was justified.

At the time of writing this, USA are 92/5 after 15.4 overs, with Harmeet Singh and Corey Anderson in the middle, batting on 6* and 14* respectively.
