Trent Boult has a habit of producing outrageous catches near the boundary line over the years, making him one of the best fielders among fast bowlers in modern-day cricket.

The Kiwi pacer pulled off yet another sublime effort on Friday (February 23) during New Zealand’s 2nd T20I against Australia in Auckland. And more importantly, it was Australia’s skipper Mitchell Marsh, who had to depart due to his heroic effort.

It all happened when Marsh, batting on 26 off 21 balls, went for a lofted drive against New Zealand skipper Mitchell Santner in an attempt to six over long-on. The timing of that shot was not as perfect as Marsh would have hoped, yet, Boult had to keep his balance before grabbing an excellent catch near the ropes.

Boult’s timing was so immaculate that he looked a tough catch look so simple to the naked eye.

Meanwhile, Australia, having led the series by 1-0 after Tim David's Hollywood finish, are not in total control against New Zealand in the second T20I. As of now, they have posted 167/7 in 18.3 overs, with Pat Cummins batting on 24* off 20 balls. Nathan Ellis is at the other end, batting on 9* off 13 balls.
