In the clash between Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) and Mumbai Indians (MI) in the ongoing IPL 2024, Travis Head's blazing innings came to an abrupt halt in the 8th over. The match witnessed a roller-coaster of emotions as the Australian batter showcased his prowess with the bat, only to fall victim to a well-executed delivery by Gerald Coetzee.

Head's departure from the crease marked the end of a whirlwind innings that had the spectators on the edge of their seats. With Mayank Agarwal already back in the pavilion, Head's performance was crucial for SRH's momentum. 

His departure came after he had just smashed the fastest 50 of IPL 2024, setting the stage on fire.

The pivotal moment arrived in the 8th over when Coetzee, with his guile and precision, managed to outfox the dangerous Head. Deploying a slower ball from around the wicket, Coetzee enticed Head into playing a shot outside the off stump.

The lack of pace worked in Coetzee's favour as Head could only manage a top-edge, which comfortably landed in the hands of Naman Dhir at deep backward point.
