Hardik Pandya has been the center of attraction since his appointment as Mumbai Indians captain ahead of IPL 2024. MI ended up losing their first game of the season and the criticism against Hardik seems to be further increasing with each passing day. 

Hardik, on the other hand, is trying hard to prove his credentials and that seems to be going against him so far, as he ended up taking a very poor review against a no ball signalled by the umpire.

The incident happened  on the first delivery of the 6th over, the last over of the Powerplay when Coetzee bowled a full toss above his waist height. It was given as No Ball by leg umpire immediately but Hardik decided to review it and had an intense chat with the umpire as well. Rohit Sharma was also around and took bit of participation in the debate as the umpire tried to make Hardik understand his point of view.

After the DRS was taken, the No Ball was retained as the ball was clearly above the waist height. Talking about the match, SRH batters went berserk as Travis Head smashed 18-ball fifty and then Abhishek Sharma bettered him with a fantastic 16-ball fifty as MI bowlers were teared apart with class and disdain.
