[Watch] Travis Head Departs For A Duck As Naveen's 'Ball Of T20 World Cup' Shatters His Middle Stump

Experienced Afghan speedster Naveen-ul-Haq ensured a dream start for Afghanistan in their second Super Eight clash of the ongoing T20 World Cup against Australia at Arnos Vale. Opening the bowling for Afghanistan, Naveen got the priced scalp of Travis Head, who was bowled for a duck.

After Afghanistan posted a respectable 148-run total, skipper Rashid Khan surprised everyone by giving the ball to Naveen instead of the in-form Fazalhaq Farooqi to bowl the first over.

However, the move paid rich dividends for the Afghans, with the ace pacer castling Head with an absolute ripper.

Naveen came around the wicket for Head straightaway and started his over with a beautiful out-swinger, which Head missed by a whisker. After bowling another dot ball, the right-arm seamer bowled a similar delivery around the leg and middle stump line.

The ball moved away from Head, who went for a clueless slog only to see his middle stump being uprooted. The dismissal gave Afghanistan the start they wanted during the second half.

After Head's departure, skipper Mitch Marsh joined David Warner in the middle. As of writing, Australia were 12 for one in two overs, with Warner and Marsh batting on 0* and 8*, respectively.
