Cricket is a game of emotions and sentiments as sometimes it can get on one's head during the heat of the moment. Cricketers have to ensure that they do not cross the line when battling against their fierce rivals.
Even in the past, certain events have occurred where the Gentlemen's game has been brought into disrepute and IPL has been no stranger to it as well. Whether it be Kieran Pollard-Mitchell Starc, Gautam Gambhir-Virat Kohli or Harbhajan Singh-S Sreesanth, there has been no dearth of action.
Another battle has joined the wagon as during the clash between Mumbai Indians (MI) and Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR), visitor's skipper Nitish Rana and off-spinner Hritik Shokeen had a face-off in the middle.
This incident happened during the ninth over when Shokeen dismissed Rana for 5 on the very first ball of the over and gave him a send-off which apparently, the batter didn't liked and reverted with some words.
It turned serious when others had to step in and separate both of them as matter could have become worse.
Incidentally, both of them represent Delhi in domestic cricket and according to some sources, they were not even on talking terms.
Also, doesn't share a good repertoire with each other which was quite evident on the field today.
By the time of writing, 13 overs have been bowled and KKR are 124 for the loss of four wickets.
