It is the 23rd match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) as Gujarat Titans (GT) will take on Rajasthan Royals (RR) to be played on 16th April, Sunday at Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad.

Gujarat Titans

Led by charismatic all-rounder Hardik Pandya, the Gujarat-based side have won three out of their four games with just one loss coming against Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) courtesy of Rinku Singh special.

Having six points on the board, the Titans have a healthy Net Run Rate of +0.341 which keeps them at third position below RR and Lucknow Super Giants (LSG). In their previous clash against Punjab Kings, the match went in the last over with Rahul Tewatia doing his usual business in the chase.

Skipper Pandya's batting form has been a concern as he has only managed scores of 8, 5 & 8 in the three games he has batted in so far. Otherwise, the entire side has looked in great touch with their bowling delivering during crucial stages.

Rajasthan Royals

Sanju Samson's Royals have been one of the most challenging sides to beat this year as both their batting and bowling have clicked this year as they did in 2022. Similar to their counterparts, Rajasthan have won three out of their four as they occupy the top position on the table with a Net Run Rate that is upwards of +1.5.

Their last game was a total blockbuster as the medium pacer Sandeep Sharma defended 5 off the final ball against veteran MS Dhoni which gave them two crucial points.

More importantly, their top order has been in admirational form with Yashasvi Jaiswal, Jos Buttler and Sanju Samson doing their job handsomely. In the death overs, the duo of Dhruv Jurel and Shimron Hetmyer have been commendable with their power-hitting.
