Another close game in the Indian Premier League (IPL) where Punjab Kings (PBKS) clinched the nail-biter against Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) in the last over with two wickets remaining. Special efforts from Zimbabwe's Sikandar Raza and finishing blows from Shahrukh Khan were the prime reason for Punjab's success in this encounter.

Chasing 160 for victory, Raza played a 57-run knock from 41 balls with three sixes and four fours to earn his player of the match award where he spoke that there were some doubts in his mind as soon as he arrived at the centre.

Moreover, he mentioned that the IPL is the biggest stage from them all and it feels good to put on a show in the toughest competition in the world as he had a few not-so-great outings in the last few encounters.

"Yeah, it feels great, to be honest. But when I got out there were a few demons in my mind. But credit goes to Shahrukh for the way he batted and took the team over the line. It's one of the biggest stage and I was looking to perform well here. I had a few average games, good to put on a show today. I think Jitesh's wicket was very crucial if he would have been at the crease he would have finished off the game with a few overs to spare. But the way Shahrukh played was pretty good, he just came and hit the first ball for the six."

After this victory, Punjab Kings will next go head to head against Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) on 20th of April.
