Rohit Sharma, the captain of the Indian cricket team, was spotted putting in hard work during a training session in preparation for the upcoming World Test Championship (WTC) Final against Australia. The International Cricket Council (ICC) shared a video showcasing the 36-year-old batsman honing his skills and perfecting his shots.

Rohit arrived in London earlier this week and has now commenced training for the crucial match. Rohit is struggling with his form and will be eager to regain his scoring touch in the WTC final, scheduled to take place from June 7th to 11th at The Oval.

To provide some background, Rohit Sharma had a rather challenging season in the IPL 2023, scoring only two fifties in 16 matches. The right-handed batsman struggled with timing and often found himself dismissed during the power play after getting starts. Despite these difficulties and unlucky timings, many social media users believe Rohit is poised to deliver a substantial performance in the WTC final.

This will be India's second consecutive appearance in the WTC final. In the previous edition, the Indian team experienced disappointment as they could not surpass New Zealand. This time, India will be determined to go further and break the ICC trophy drought, which dates back to their victory in the Champions Trophy in 2013.

Rohit Sharma and his teammates are riding on the momentum of their recent triumph in the Border-Gavaskar Trophy, and they will be looking to carry that confidence into the upcoming WTC final.

India has made sure to cover all aspects of their preparation to mount a strong challenge against Australia in the WTC final, despite the contrasting conditions in England. The first group of players, including coach Rahul Dravid, arrived in London the previous week to acclimate to the conditions and begin training.

Key players such as Shubman Gill, KS Bharat, Ajinkya Rahane, and Ravindra Jadeja are expected to join today, further bolstering India's squad for the important match. This demonstrates India's meticulous planning and determination to assemble a formidable team for the WTC final.
