Bangladesh are defending 106 against Nepal in a do-or-die game. The two Asian sides are contesting each other in the 37th match of the T20 World Cup 2024.

Rohit Paudel won the toss and put Bangladesh to bat first. In a dismal batting effort, Najmul Hossain Shanto and his men were able to put up only 106 runs on the board before being bundled out in the last over.

Bangladesh walked out in desperation to defend the total as they need to win this game to make it into the Super Eights of the tournament. Tanzim Hasan Sakib gave the right start to Bangladesh as he picked up a couple of wickets in his second over.

The first of these two wickets fell in the second ball of the over. It was a full toss at the off stump and with a hint of inswing. Kushal Bhurtel was looking to drive the ball through the covers, but he missed it completely. The ball clipped the bails and ended Bhurtel's stay in the middle. This was followed by a second wicket on the fourth ball. 

The two wickets brought Bangladesh right back into the game. Things are all set for a low-scoring thriller between the two Asian sides. At the time of writing Nepal are struggling at 25/4 and they need 82 to win off 81 deliveries.
