Sri Lanka and the Netherlands are taking on each other in the 38th match of the T20 World Cup 2024. Sri Lanka has already bowed out of the tournament, but this game bears a lot of significance to the Netherlands' qualification in the Super Eights.

Bangladesh are struggling against Nepal at the Arnos Vale Stadium. That provides a chance for the Netherlands to win against Sri Lanka and find their way into the Super Eights. 

At this crucial juncture in Group D, the Netherlands won the toss, and they decided to field first. The skipper of the team, Scott Edwards, believes the wicket is good, and they will try and restrict Sri Lanka to something reasonable and then chase it down within the determined time. The Dutch have gone in with the same team from the last match. 

The Sri Lankan team skipper, Wanindu Hasaranga, confirms that he, too, would have fielded first on winning the toss. They have gone in with the same team, too, for this game. Sri Lanka will be looking to win and walk out of the tournament on a high.
